On the 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will become law, marking the biggest change to Data Protection law in twenty years.
- increased hurdles for obtaining consents to data processing
- new breach notification requirements
- obligations to evidence privacy by design and harsher penalties when things go wrong.
